GR LearnPro offers three flexible test generation methods to help educators create assessments tailored to their curriculum needs. These methods ensure balanced question distribution, precise customization, and efficient test creation to align with educational objectives.
Test Generation Methods in GR LearnPro
1. Standards-Aligned Distribution
This method allows users to create tests based on selected units, standards, weightage, and question types (MCQs & OEQs) to ensure a balanced assessment.
Options Available:
- Distribute by Total # Questions & Weightage:
- Select this option to distribute questions based on the total number of questions and their assigned weightage.
- The system will automatically balance the number of questions according to the specified weightage across selected units and standards.
- Distribute by Question Types (MCQs & OEQs):
- Select this option to manually specify the number of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Open-Ended Questions (OEQs) for each selected unit and standard.
- This allows greater control over question distribution by type.
Best Use Case:
- Ideal for structured test design where assessments must align with specific standards and weightage.
- Ensures balanced question distribution based on curriculum guidelines.
2. Fixed Questions Per Standard
This method enables educators to define the exact number of MCQs and OEQs per standard. The system will then allocate questions accordingly.
Key Features:
- Users manually set the number of MCQs and OEQs per standard.
- The system ensures each standard receives the specified number of questions.
- Greater precision in test customization.
Best Use Case:
- Useful for standard-based assessments where educators want to control the number of questions assigned to each standard.
- Ensures that each standard is equally or strategically represented.
3. Fixed Total Questions
This method allows users to define the total number of questions for the entire test, and the system will automatically distribute these questions across the selected standards and units.
Key Features:
- Users enter the total number of questions, including separate counts for MCQs and OEQs.
- The system automatically distributes questions evenly or proportionally across the chosen standards and units.
Best Use Case:
- Suitable for quick test generation where a fixed number of questions is required.
- Ideal for adaptive testing scenarios where question allocation needs to be automated.
