How to reset a lesson posttest



🔹 Resetting a posttest allows the student to attempt it again if they have exceeded the allowed number of resets.

🔹 If enabled, students can view past attempts to track their progress.

🔹 If a teacher accidentally resets a test, it can be restored by contacting Grade Results Support.

This guide walks you through the steps to reset a Lesson Posttest in Grade Results. If a student needs to retake a posttest, follow these simple steps.

Ways to Access the Student Course Progress Page

There are two ways to access the Student Course Progress page:

Option 1: Via Performance Dashboard

1️⃣ Navigate to the Student List and select the student.
2️⃣ Click on Performance Dashboard.
3️⃣ Select the student’s course to open the Course Progress page.

Option 2: Direct Access to Student Course Progress

1️⃣ Go to the Student Course Progress page.
2️⃣ Use the search bar to find the student and course.
3️⃣ Select the correct student and course to proceed.

Steps to Reset a Lesson Posttest

1️⃣ Choose the Lesson to Reset

Locate the lesson that requires a posttest reset.
Click the box next to the lesson to select it.

2️⃣ Reset the Lesson Posttest

Click "Reset - Lesson Posttest" to clear the test attempt.

3️⃣ Allow Retake

Click "Retake Now" to enable the student to retake the posttest.

4️⃣ Confirmation

The posttest is now reset, and the student can attempt it again.



🔹 Reset Limitations: Students can only retake the posttest up to their allowed reset count.
