Academic Integrity Policy

Purpose

Grade Results is committed to maintaining high standards of academic honesty and integrity. Students are expected to complete all coursework honestly and independently unless collaboration is specifically authorized by the instructor.

Academic Integrity Expectations

Students shall:

  • Submit original work.
  • Properly cite sources when using outside materials.
  • Complete assessments independently unless otherwise permitted.
  • Protect the confidentiality of assessment content.
  • Use technology and learning resources responsibly.

Prohibited Conduct

The following actions are considered violations of academic integrity:

Plagiarism

Presenting another person’s words, ideas, or work as one’s own without proper attribution.

Cheating

Using unauthorized materials, assistance, or technology during assessments or assignments.

Fabrication

Falsifying information, citations, records, or academic work.

Unauthorized Collaboration

Working with others on assignments intended to be completed individually.

Misuse of Technology

Using artificial intelligence tools, software, websites, or electronic devices in ways that violate instructor directions or assessment requirements.

Impersonation

Allowing another person to complete coursework or assessments on one’s behalf.

Monitoring and Verification

Grade Results and its educational partners may utilize:

  • Activity tracking and audit logs
  • Assessment monitoring tools
  • Plagiarism detection technologies
  • Teacher review and verification procedures
  • Identity verification methods where applicable

Consequences

Violations may result in:

  • Assignment resubmission requirements
  • Reduced or failing grades
  • Course failure
  • Suspension of course privileges
  • Referral to school or district administration for disciplinary action

Appeals

Students may appeal academic integrity determinations through the established policies and procedures of their school, district, or educational institution.
